February 26th is Pink Shirt day. As a school we focussed on ways in which we can make students feel accepted, safe, and non bullied. Kindness month is nearly over. We have written a letter to a special person in our school. We discussed how this person makes us feel special and important. They showed us kindness in some way at school.
We have reached out to seven different schools all across Canada. We sent packages that include the following:
1. Important components of Calgary living which include the following:
- Landmarks
- Physical landscapes
- Languages spoken
- Animals
- Housing
- Natural resources
2. A Classroom letter written by our students
3. A Classroom picture
4. Individual letters from each student
